If history is any teacher the Forest Investment Vote, which will fund various public investments in forestry in British Columbia this year, will not likely outlast the previous 17 other public forestry programs, funds, and agencies that preceeded it. Something more enduring is required. The WSCA is proposing a ”user pay” approach to fund forestry in B.C.
