Dear Colleagues,
We are calling on you to join back together with your industry colleagues to discuss the issue of COVID-19 management in the 2022 season. We wish at this time to ensure time for discussion before the coastal season which could begin within a month, depending on snowmelt.
Over the past two years, our industry has fared exceptionally well in terms of managing the risk of COVID-19, with only a small number of cases affecting our members. This has been directly a result of unity and cooperation in the industry in developing effective strategies that serve the needs of our unique workforce. Even though companies will continue to adopt different policies suitable to their personnel and circumstances, we will undoubtedly benefit from a careful review of Health orders and the exchange of ideas to help us all through the coming season.
Please join us on Thursday, January 27th for an early preview of the coming season. Jordan Tesluk, John Betts, and others will be joining us to address some key considerations in policy choices and implementation, including discussion of topics related to vaccination, workplace relations, and new orders from Northern Health.
