Guidance Document for Addressing the Costs of Extra COVID-19 Safety Related Requirements Associated with Tree Planting (06/12/20)

Tree planting typically occurs in remote areas and near First Nation and rural communities throughout the province. It is important for BC to protect those who live in rural and remote communities and to ensure the safety of all forest workers.

The BC Centre for Disease Control has released Protecting Employees, Contractors, and Employers Working in the Silviculture Sector During the Covid-19 Pandemic which outlines safety requirements for tree planters.

In this document, WFCA addresses the additional costs of COVID-19 safety related requirements associated with tree planting. Read it here.
