Part of the registration package at this year’s WSCA Conference in Prince George (January 30th to February 2nd, 2007), will include a day and a half of the Silviculture Employer OHS Course. The training, starting Tuesday, January 30th, 2007, will meet the mandatory SEBASE training requirement for small employers with three to nineteen employees.

It will also be specially tailored to assist large silviculture employers (20 or more employees) in structuring their own health and safety and audit programs to meet the mandatory requirements of the BASE audit for the SAFE Companies program. Steven Mueller, former silviculture contractor and the BC Forest Safety Council’s Acting Director SAFE Companies, will instruct.
