Forest Leadership is pleased to announce the final program for its conference to be held in Toronto on March 1-3, 2005. The conference will attract over 250 delegates from countries such as Canada, the United States, Russia and the United Kingdom. Focusing on how to best engage in partnerships towards sustainability, the conference is shaping up as the most prominent and influential North American sustainable forestry event of the year.
Conference keynote speakers are David Ramsay, Minister, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources; Pekka Patosaari, Director, United Nations Forum on Forests; Monte Hummel, President Emeritus, WWF-Canada; and Sally Collins, Associate Chief, USDA Forest Service. Conference special guest speaker is Dr. Patrick Moore, Co-Founder of Greenpeace, consultant, author and public speaker.

On the evening of March 1st, three prestigious ForestLeadership Awards will be presented, recognizing exceptional leadership, communication and partnership towards sustainability. The awards, for which some twenty nominations were received, were decided upon by a four member independent jury.
A special workshop on corporate social responsibility, to be held on March 3, will feature prominent experts such as Matthew J. Kiernan, Founder and Chief Executive of Innovest Strategic Value Advisors; David Nitkin, President, EthicScan Canada and Chris Deri, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Social Responsibility, Edelman.
