University of Northern B.C. to Administer Wildlife Danger Tree Assessor Training April 1, 2004
UNBC’s Continuing Education department in conjunction with Malaspina University College Forestry Extension Department will be the new delivery agent for the three modules of the Wildlife/Danger Tree Assessor’s Course effective April 1, 2004. The Forestry Continuing Studies Network will no longer be administering the training as of the end of this month. The three 32-hour duration modules include: Forest Harvesting and Silviculture, Wildland Fire Safety and Parks and Recreation Sites.
The Forest Industry Safety Association will still be supporting a portion of the training costs with fees now at $160.00 per student. Please contact UNBC for information on upcoming courses around the province.
